Recently I have read a lot’s of entrepreneur blogger’s blog and observed a similar flow in 99% blog. I was just doing a survey on trends and SEO, but accidentally I stumble on this serious flow. The flaw is nothing but a simple “NO FOLLOW” tag. Some of the blog has real quality writings but just for this “NO FOLLOW” tag issues those blogs were denied by search engines even blog listing sources.

All major blog platform or software by default use “NO FOLLOW” to prevent comment spam. Each and every bloggers have ugly experiences with this comment spam thing. If you have a blog, you're painfully familiar with people who try to raise their own websites' search engine rankings by submitting linked blog comments like "Visit my discount amish related site." This is called comment spam.   

That’s where (“rel-nofollow”) attribute tag beginning to used on hyperlink not to crawl by search engine. This isn't a negative vote for the site where the comment was posted; it's just a way to make sure that spammers get no benefit from abusing public areas like blog comments, trackbacks, and referrer lists. Another area where the no follow tag is being used is on publisher websites in on the sponsored link text. Google is especially keen on this noting that sponsored links may in fact be links to bad neighborhoods and should not gain from another site's PageRank. Yahoo disagrees with this philosophy so there is nice debates going on now about the no follow tag in regard to sponsored links. One area where one will definitely not want to use the no follow tag is when doing reciprocal link trades. In a reciprocal link trade, you're not only trading traffic with another website but PageRank as well. If you place a no follow tag on the text link of one of your reciprocal partners, this says a couple of things.

Also another concern is not giving credit to good commenter.  If you use default “NO Follow” tag, than every comment’s URL’s won’t be followed, even a link of a good contributor. That’s seriously unethical. “NO Follow” tag is good tools to fight Spam but proper use of it necessary, by giving deserved contributors their credit (not placing NO Follow tag in good contributors comment). Selectively use it, how? Every Blog platform or software have options to have comment awaiting modernization, use that. So no comment will be post without your modernization. Software or Platform in addition to Google’s blogger support “NO Follow”—-

Use it, but use it wisely and ethical way.
