22 January 2008 the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) released the first public working draft of the HTML 5.0 specification. The official press release can be found here. Its taken nearly 11 months since work began on HTML 5.0 for this first public working draft to get released. Too slow! No that’s way faster compare to most of the W3C working group’s pace.
