Couple of decades ago when computer gaming became popular, it created two things simultaneously – 1) A gaming economy 2) A platform/Launchpad. Now after few decades the no.2 has transformed into something different with the advancement of technology. This evolution of gaming from tabletop or field or imagination to computer screen, mobile devices and World Wide Web created a totally different stream of economy and created millions of jobs. In addition the Gaming as well turned itself into platform for traditional tabletop gaming, as well as gambling & erotic fantasies. Before digital gaming age, game a form of entertainment was enclosing to outdoor or indoor activities, in short (indoor & outdoor) sports were the only kind of games out there. Faina off the coast of Somalia

As a tech blog this isn’t supposed to be a content of this blog, especially not after so long break.  But no matter how awkward the topic may seem I insist that technology has everything to do with this topic, just in different ways. So what’s the catch? I will spare you the ongoing showdown of Ukrainian cargo vessel Faina held by pirates which you can pickup from almost any news site. Whole worlds knows the Faina is currently moored off Somalia’s coast close to the town of Hoboyo (long: 5.34583; Lat: 48.540688). According to most of the news agencies a US navy ship is nearby providing a blockade to the pirate so they won’t be able to unload the cargos of the ship, which happens to be 13 Russian made T-72 tanks, rifles and heavy weapons. You got to admit, that’s a hell of a fire power under any circumstances.  Just for curiosity I was playing with Google, yahoo and Live map and end up locating this (see bellow), which don’t look like US warship to me and way off the reported location—and certainly there is no other ship can be seen nearby. View Larger Map The big question–who’s…

WebCockpit,worth trying?

Last weekend I got the chance to check out some non-traditional web 2.0 products and services. Obviously the most popular and traditional web 2.0 product is different kinds of social networking or related stuffs. But we will be sadly mistaken if we draw the line just there, web 2.0is something beyond just social networking. “The Simpleology WebCockpit 1.0”, one such product/application, well that’s what I was told. This not so traditional web 2.0 application designed to allow users to apply the simpleology principles (as taught in the Wall Street Journal best-selling book and the Simpleology 101 online course) in an automated setting. We always see lots of so called methods and opportunities online for changing the future; I don’t need to mention that 97% of them are just a joke. But this app got my attention for two reason- It’s 100% free (well that’s what they said), and it’s a sort of training rather than any pyramid scam to get rich quick. WebCockpit 1.0 like a pretty ordinary landing page to some sort of sign up, which we have seen more than often in our virtual life. Still just like a cat I decided to check it out, just for…

LoudLaunch made it’s debut

Most anticipated LoudLaunch has finally made it’s official debut. I referred as anticipated since, prior to launch, just during pre-registration period LoudLaunch has made quite a buzz through out blogosphere. LoudLaunch which allows bloggers to be compensated for helping their advertisers distribute their press releases or news. On the contrary to other similar network they made it compulsory for the blogger to disclose that they are being paid for that post within the post. On the other hand they are allowing bloggers to express their own opinion without binding them in certain rules. Which made LoudLaunch truly unique and comfortable for bloggers, where they can maintain their code of honor yet earn money. Not only for bloggers but LoudLaunch has lot to offer to advertisers too. Advertisers’ with any budget can create campaign’s starting at US$50, which makes it cheapest network for such campaign. But since the reach of a campaign is determined by the campaigns budget, the higher the budget is the more bloggers to distribute the news. For advertiser LoudLaunch can be very effective as policies of LoudLaunch made it favorable to bloggers rather then controversial. While bloggers are happy, the more easier way to reach audience through them….
