Online game economy

Video Gaming industry hasn’t been this popular ever, average video game users are just climbing up by minutes. Video game industry is already a huge economical power house and it’s getting huger. The scenario is a lot different than what its used to be 5 years ago. Console games are not making money, while online and mobile games are taking over the market. Currently online and mobile games generates about 35% of total game industries revenue, and it’s market share growing. The way it’s going Consol game will be a relic like thingy in near future. Two years in creating, one and a half months in market with a cute little unique name, with stylish design and emphasized on trendy social network tools couldn’t save Kin from crashing. Just for the intro ‘Kin’ is the smart phone device that supposed to prove that Microsoft could build the right product at the right time for the ever changing tech savvy youngsters. Microsoft planning on a shakeup that will split its mobile and gaming business into two sections, which was not supposed to be together in the first place. This an attempt to reclaim a leading position in the Smartphone market, a position that’s largely slipped away in the face of competition from Apple and Google. Among internet’s big brothers Yahoo is the slowest to expend it’s presence to mobile market. Well it’s better late than never. Isn’t it? Now aiming to expand its presence in the emerging markets, Internet giant Yahoo announced Tuesday that it has acquired Indonesia’s location-based services startup Koprol. This announcement came one day after announcing an expanded mobile partnership with Nokia. JavaFX is now mobile

Growing admiration and success of Apple’s application store sparked concerns among Apple’s rivals that they are falling short of edge. Inevitably this fuels up their research and craves for something similar or better. In this endeavour Sun Microsystems came up with a mobile platform that enables developers to create iPhone-like apps for a wide variety of handsets. As the brand new state-wide law goes into effect @ California time for CA guys and ladies to get some wired or wireless Cell Phone Headsets. Now whether you’re a fan or not, fact is that if you’re going to be talking on a cell phone call, then you need a headset. While I agree with that the law needs to be tougher, and goes worldwide.
