Start building apps for iOS

Interested in Mobile application development? You should be- whether it is for your business, startup or professional needs. Apple’s iPad is predicted to rule throughout 2011 and better half of 2012, which happens to be most promising mobile/tablet platform as of now. So as you can see it’s a great time to crack on to some iOS application right about now. If you are entrepreneur might be a fine time for a child project flavored around iOS, if you are a developer very good time to start on iOS (if already haven’t done so). Why? Apple released a fifth beta version of iOS 5 to developers last Friday, which is kind of odd as Apple usually does this over the weekdays not last day of the week. The release notes suggest this include some fixes but no major features, apart from a Hearing Aid Mode designed to improve compatibility between iOS devices and hearing aids. Android is an awesome platform but for freelance developer just to bank on only one platform and leave the other promising one isn’t such a great move. Today’s financial crunch requires you to be expert in multiple platforms, in order to sell your service more…

Flash finally onboard iPhone

You are not seeing ghost! That’s right Adobe flash can be run on iPhone 4.0, not just any flash the latest version. Hold your horses before you run over people or something, there is a catch! This can be done only by certain hack Comex, the same infamous (to Apple)/ renowned (to millions of consumers) hacker who developed the browser-based JailbreakMe tool, has done what should have been impossible and brought Flash video capabilities to the iPhone 4, and he claim that it will work on iPhone 3GS and the iPad as well. This Frash lets iPhone users view Adobe Flash content on their phones. This is certainly not any windows click and get hack, user’s iPhone have to be jail broken first prior to perform the actual hack which is a bit complex indeed.   This is no news to us that Apple’s firm stand against letting Flash, the de facto web video standard into iPhone made Flash lost its glory (even if it’s not that significant yet). This also allow the rise of HTML5, even video sharing mammoth like YouTube embraced HTML5, where once Flash was one and only. So if you are Flash fan, seriously pissed with…

Asus launched tablet pc, Eee Pad

Whether you are Apple fanboy or Windows fanboy, if you are honest techy you have to admit Apple got a history of motivating/pushing other tech companies towards new technologies. For example – before iPod there was nothing comparable to iPod (First of its kind), yeah I know there was Sony Discman, Walkman but truly nothing even close to iPod. But once Apple unwrap iPod, thousands of devices popped up in the market either mimicking iPod or inspired by iPod. More or less same scenario we have observed after the launch of iPhone. Now iPad, the tablet computing device released by Apple, seems to be gaining same momentum in tech arena just like iPod and iPhone did. All these three are three different kind of device, but common are all of them come from Apple and all motivational devices for tech scene. This is good for the tech environment, since no matter who motivated the bottom-line is creative, competitive technological evolution continues. Apple iPad is an excellent device which is unique and first of its kind, but does have its fair share of limitations. Well those who are didn’t relented to iPad fever, here is another provocation to get onboard table…

Adobe, HTML5 and Apple why needs to be observed

We all aware of the spat going on between Adobe and Apple regarding Adobe’s Flash. It wasn’t always like that, not too long ago they had a mutually beneficial relationship creating a niche market based on Apple’s Mac operating system and Adobe’s content creation software. Long story short now these two once friends are now bitter rivals and hostilely fighting (media war) each other over the merits of Flash and the future of interactive content and video on the Mobile & Web. Adobe’s flash which no doubt overwhelmingly dominate web, obviously defend its product and wishes to conquer Mobile device dominance as well. On the other hand Apple the biggest tech company in the world continually refuses to accept flash on their iPhone and iPad instead advocates HTML5 as standard. It’s seems after quite a bit news battle, Adobe decided to take two approach to stay on the top of food chain. Flash defending-ad campaign Take the lead in HTML5 development Now Adobe showcased a new HTML5 addition to its Creative Suite software on Wednesday at the Google I/O developer conference. Seems Adobe would like to be more of a leader and less of a follower when it comes to…
