Dual SLI graphics, two hard drives, an integrated TV tuner, and a gorgeous 17-inch wide-screen display and off course 3 vibrant techno color can surely produce more than enough power you need in a laptop. Alienware the ultimate gamer’s prey comes with its Aurora m9700 and put all those I said in it, which makes it first and only 17” SLI driven monster.  Though it doesn’t look like a monster at all with its three elegant techno metallic color. I usually like notebook with better performance, never concerned about power. But this Aurora m9700 sure knocks me with perfect combination of power, looks and performance.

SLI graphics provide solid frame rates; loads of drive space; integrated TV tuner; mouse and remote included; cozy keyboard with number pad; beautiful 17-inch wide-screen display. The small alien head that glows blue on the top of the laptop makes it clear to others at any LAN party that you are showing off Alienware hardware. The rubber grips on the hood don't serve any real purpose, but they do contribute to the Aurora m9700's ominous visage. Thankfully, Alienware throws in a mouse. And not just any mouse, but Logitech's excellent G5 Laser Mouse, complete with weights to get the precise feel gamers demand. Alienware also manages to find room for two 100GB hard drives in a RAID 0 configuration, a rare feature in a laptop. Despite all of its high-end hardware, the Aurora m9700 runs cool and quiet, even when running intensive apps, such as a 3D game. Unfortunately, it doesn't always add up to top-flight performance. Few things might bother you such as the glossy touchpad (uncomfortable to use-too glossy), there is no question about it performance but sure when you spend nearly $2,000 you can expect a little more.

Regardless of its very slight drawbacks, it’s the most powerful laptop in the market, whether by performance or stability.
