Blog platform do encounter glitches and errors time to time. But not necessarily you will have to stop for that, there is always ways around, and not always it’s your blog software’s fault. Sometimes errors occur from server side too.
If you encounter
“Forbidden
You don’t have permission to access /your blog directory/wp-admin/post.php on this server.â€Â
First check your server’s file and folder permission. All folders should be in 755 and files should be in 644 permission. If everything fine, but still you are encountering this error, try to post/save a test post with just a line or two non technical words. If that allows you to save or post. That means your problem is on the server side, very little you can do about that. This problem occurs when your host running mod_security, for some certain word you can’t publish a post even can’t save it too. You will have a 403 error every time you want to save or publish.
Solution:
Ask your host if they can turn off mod_security. If they won’t then you have to find out exactly what word is causing the problem, either replace that or put a extra space in from of it. Remember it might be more than one word.
