Until now lots of organization was trying getting a hold on blogs feed audiences/readers. Lots of them even introduced many type of feed advertising, but unfortunately they are too complex and some even require you to edit your feed templates.  For someone who have little or no technical knowledge this will be frustrating. But as I said in my other post about feed things change in blogsphere (blog world) in lightening speed. Now the feed monetizing solution came in easiest way.

The Text-link-ads company introduced “Feedvertising”, especially for feed. You can have ad link to your feed in no time with “Feedvertising”. A great step to utilize almost 50% readers of your blog to increase revenue.

The Good: Easy to use, even for a blogger who started blogging yesterday. Sign up for a publisher account with “Feedvertiser”, submit your blog and its feed for review.  The Review process takes around 24 hours. Highest number of ad spot you can sell is 10. Though you can wish to sell less than 10 too, and keep some spot for other uses.

The Bad: Currently only supporting blogs using WordPress 2.0+, and only in RSS channel. So if you are using something other than WordPress you have to wait, I got a word that platform independent version is under development.

The Catch: Except for the WordPress requirements I couldn’t see any drawbacks, its flat rate (no need to make your head hot calculating CMP,PPC etc.).

I wonder why they name it “Feedvertising”, sounds closer to bidvertiser or blogvertiser.:P Just a Thought.
