Last night when i wrote my last article “Blogosphere weekend summarized” never thought i missed a big news. Around 21 hours ago Techcrunch as most of the time brings up the news that Calacanis resigned from AOL out of nowhere. It was just a day ago when AOL replaced Jonathan Miller. Soon after the that NYtimes confirmed that Jason did actually resigned. TechCrunch do bring serious stuffs in blogosphere :D.

Jason didn’t give a reason on his blog, but did tell the New York Times that “I’m not inclined to start over with a new guy.”

Jason said in his shorty- short blog post few hours ago:

I’ve got a lot to say, but I’m thinking that I’ll just talk about it on the final episode of the Gillmor Gang podcast–which we happen to be doing tomorrow (crazy coincidence I know).

I am not a big fan of Jason’s blog or his writings, but i do know he was the flashlight for Netscape, as he reconstruct-reconfigure Netscape to a competitive shape. Now without him Netscape might be in trouble. It is never easy for someone new to complete/ carry-on someone else projects. A lot speculation is going over blogosphere on Jason’s departure from AOL. Jason’s No-comment strategy and promises to clearing things on tomorrows podcast will bring if enormous traffic you can bet on that. What next for controversial Jason Calacanis? Well wait until tomorrow, i figure he will give a breaking announcement.
