As for those who are not aware, SEO means “Search Engine Optimization“. Yap I know what comes in your mind watching this, you have seen it millions while searching in Google or Yahoo or some other place. So I will cut to the chase. SEO seems to be a growing business in internet industry, due to rise of contextual advertising program. Though Google lunch that first but there are plenty already. Clicksor, Popunder, Bidvertiser, Oxado are few famous to mention. My target of this reading is to clear up few confusion we have about SEO marketing or such terms, and many business pop up to take advantages of our this confusion.

SEO, as the term says all about search engine. Whether we are a Blogger to express your thought or for extra income we all need reader, means traffic. No traffic no reader simple as that. Hence there is no traffic you can’t either express your though neither earn money. Unless someone definitely no your website or Blog site, without search engine or directory no one will ever find you. Generally when we have a website/Blog we just submit it in Google, yahoo etc. search engine, but additionally do you know you need to submit your site to Open Directory Project too?  Yes Google, yahoo, Ask jeevs.. Every Search engine uses that for their directory listing, so if you aren’t in ODP you aren’t in their directory. The next part is when we Blog or make a website we are very much worried about our keyword crap; yes rap cause actually it does matter but it doesn’t matter also, if you  can manipulate other factors. Because Blogging is different from other web materials, you can not just pile up keywords in your writing and make your Blog useless and meaningless. Because contextual advertising or search engine is not always about keywords sometimes it’s more about content, frequent visits, Links etc.

Well probably I am making confuse everyone. Ok why not follow the steps—

1.     Submit your site to ODP(http://dmoz.org/)

2.     Write your Blog without worrying about key words.

3.     Check the value of the key words. Well Overture and Google might have difference but keywords price are very less difference most of the case. Bidtool

4.     If you have Google Adwords account, you can check out the value of your keywords(the one you have in your Blog)

5.     Since we are talking about Blogging, open feed burner account, there in optimization section you will see an option that every time you update your Blog there are option to submit that throughout all biggest Blog network, activate that.

6.     If you have your own site—this is for ya, Sign up with a referral program, related to your writings, example if you write about software, sign up with Zdnet, or Yahoo or some other. Those referral programs give around $70+ up to $200 per download or account creation, most are free.

7.     Even in Blogfeast when you Blog you can add a referral link in your signature.

8.     Finally very important, whatever topic you Blog, try to Blogroll with similar writers that will boost traffic in no time. Tested.
