Couple of years ago 3rd party DNS hosting was in boom, but for some unknown reason DNS hosting via 3rd party started to lose its ground. Surprisingly recently after few years of pause 3rd party DNS hosting once gain on the rise, credit might goes to increasing dependency and popularity of Cloud Hosting. There are growing numbers of DNS hosting providers who operates servers on various geographic locations that provide resilience and minimize latency for clients around the world. Good news for personal & small business is a lot of DNS hosting provider is free or partially free. Usually free DNS hosting includes facilities to manage A, MX, CNAME, TXT and NS records of the domain zone. But why do you need DNS hosting, when most of the web hosting and registrar already has that for free. Well many people justify using 3rd party DNS for reason such as – Redundant DNS hosting by web host, uptime guarantee, TTL control (as many web host DNS lacks it), more feature than web host, failover, load balancing and many more. .XXX a total failure of policy & strategy yet heavy cash maker
.XXX domain name which recently goes on for public sale proving to be one of the hot commodities on the net. Since the first .xxx URLs were released on restricted sale in September there have been some 100,000 purchases of the domain names. According to ICANN .XXX sites supposed to be a safer alternative to those available online at present and that they will benefit from daily malware scanning from security protection software. But a lot of expert believes that this creating a “monopoly” and is “anti-competitive”. In theory grouping porn sites together under the .xxx domain for the purpose of providing simultaneously protection of porn-viewers and the protection of those who don’t want porn is certainly very welcoming. For instances it is easier to filter them out when they are under one single domain name extension, to prevent kids from accessing porn. And for porn lovers their sites will be less contaminated by malware & virus as all .XXX sites will be frequently scanned for malware & viruses. So the theory seems makes everyone happy. But alas the theory is less realistic than actual reality we face. A lot of people did support .XXX moves, still a lot of…
Google’s cleanup marathon continues
Google over the years experimented with lots of products with different paradigm. Some were to give the user more complete web experience one way or another relate to its flagship products like – Gmail, Search engine, Chrome, Analytics. On the other hand some were simply its own version of popular products to give others run for their money or just to prove we can do better. It even acquires several products over the year – like most software giants do, to expand its product base. But as we all know you can’t be good at everything, some of Google’s experiment paid off some didn’t, and some didn’t even make it to count as viable product. Well that’s the game isn’t it, keep innovating –otherwise you won’t keep up with the flow of tide of technology. So what you do when you have lots of nonproductive stuffs in the house? You either do a garage sell or through it away right? For companies such as Google they either sell their products that’s not making that much of buck (which happens not so often, as products failed to generate buzz to be considered as failed products) or just shut it down and…

No doubt Law-enforcement & Military use of this technology can strengthen the chain of communication by tenfold. Well let’s not get ahead of ourselves, like all research technology, this technology yet to be perfected and far from being production ready. Still got few things to tweak and adjust, for example- suitable power source. Currently the prototype device works only…

Still now majority rich media application & Games on the web circumnavigate around Flash. Flash Player for smart phones was made available to handset manufacturers at the end of 2009 in order to achieve mobile platform dominance just as web. But unfortunately the rein of Flash is about to come to an end. Things started to fall apart for Adobe Flash, when Steve Jobs famously posted a note on Apple’s website calling Flash closed, unstable, and antiquated. Accusing Adobe of living in the past and not innovating to keep up with the mobile Web, he reason why Adobe Flash won’t be supported by iPhone & iPad. Nonetheless Adobe kept investing on Flash and managed to get Apple’s Mobile & Tablet market competitors as partners who are willing to support Flash on their device in order to get an edge over Apple. Start building apps for iOS
Interested in Mobile application development? You should be- whether it is for your business, startup or professional needs. Apple’s iPad is predicted to rule throughout 2011 and better half of 2012, which happens to be most promising mobile/tablet platform as of now. So as you can see it’s a great time to crack on to some iOS application right about now. If you are entrepreneur might be a fine time for a child project flavored around iOS, if you are a developer very good time to start on iOS (if already haven’t done so). Why? Apple released a fifth beta version of iOS 5 to developers last Friday, which is kind of odd as Apple usually does this over the weekdays not last day of the week. The release notes suggest this include some fixes but no major features, apart from a Hearing Aid Mode designed to improve compatibility between iOS devices and hearing aids. Android is an awesome platform but for freelance developer just to bank on only one platform and leave the other promising one isn’t such a great move. Today’s financial crunch requires you to be expert in multiple platforms, in order to sell your service more…
