Who says you need to pay fortune for a word processor? Well maybe before, but now those days are over. Ever since I started using the free Writely to compose and edit basic text files, I’ve been hooked on its simplicity and functionalities. The hitch? If you’re offline, you’re out of luck. Through last few years software industries giants were creating Microsoft word like software, but none seems to cope up with the trend and style. Almost every year Microsoft come up with a new version of word with it’s office suit, no matter how expensive it is people have no choice but to use it since no other alternative available. But when Google declared its free online word processor, for the first time ever Microsoft feel the pressure. Google named it Writely, a cute short name.

In physics optics section you should have learnt that “And object may change it’s shape, dimension even color in your view, due to light source, and the position your looking from”. Same Goes With The human life. From one point of view its look likes something, from another point of view it’s something entirely different. For example the escalating causalities in Lebanon and Gaza. From Israeli point of view they are defending there country, from Hezbollah point of view
they were defending them, from Palestine’s point of view they were taking revenge, but for Lebanon’s point of view it’s nothing but loss of lives and home. So let’s clear up the messes and see what we can see beyond the clouds of politics, religion & diplomacy.

Looking For Safety
Through out history we have seen war makes civilian suffer, doesn’t matter it’s war for independence or civil war or invasion. Though politics might argue that there were no alternative of war, maybe there weren’t or maybe there was. But the fact of sufferings of civilians in war is as true as sun. Whoever wins, civilians are always “causalities of war”. The political leaders through out the world say it is the sacrifice for the greater good. But that doesn’t make me feel a little comfortable thinking the slaughtering of hundreds of thousands of woman, children and unarmed non combatants. There is always a way other than armed conflicts, maybe its long way but there is a way, and by all means politicians should find that way to resolve conflicts.

Growing conflicts in mid east, concerning the innocent civilian life is important. In past few conflicts within last few years more then half a million civilian causalities only in mildest. Out of that quarter of million civilian died or slaughtered only in Iraq. US lead allied forces invaded Iraq on the suspicion of Saddam having Weapons Of Mass destruction, but alas even after few years of Iraq occupation nothing can be recovered. So what does that mean? The whole international humanity was fooled by some dumb ass political agenda? So whatever happened we can not change that, cause no one controls the time. But at least we can save some few hundred thousands of civilian’s life, which is about to sacrificed under eminent civil war in Iraq.

Alternative browsers have been around for years, including Netscape, which was long ago absorbed by the Time Warner conglomerate. The popular open source browser Mozilla is based on Netscape, a program called Opera has a following, and Apple Computer has its own browser, dubbed Safari.
